The
Gathering Place is now accepting applications for the Summer 2012
college internship. Applications must be submitted by Friday
January 20, 2012.
Our
college internship program offers a unique opportunity for professional
development and spiritual growth. The program offers interns a 10 week
experience (May 22th - August 4th)
full of genuine community, ministry skill training, and practical hands
on ministry in our special St. Simons Island/Brunswick, Georgia
community.
This full-time
paid internship is open to college students, graduate students and
recent college graduates between the ages of 18-25.
As
a student ministry in the beautiful Golden Isles area (located an hour
between of Savannah and Jacksonville) you can expect the following:
- TONS of teenagers
eager to get to know you and spend time with you.
- BEAUTIFUL beaches and
many great things to do in the area.
- GREAT community of
churches who have come together to support and invest in you!
- LIFE LONG
RELATIONSHIPS TO DEVELOP with the kids you work with, their families,
and our really special community down here!
- LIFE LONG FRIENDSHIPS
TO DEVELOP and the other team of college interns you'll be working with
and living with all summer!!!
