You are here: Home >> School Year What is a 707 group? A 707 is a small group of teenagers, between 6th grade and 12th grade, that meet together with adult leaders who facilitate these groups. The thing that is unique about these groups is that often these groups are formed by the students themselves, & are made up of either all girls or all guys who are in the same grade & attend the same school. Ideally, the groups meet weekly until they graduate from High School. The dynamics of these groups are all very different & change over the years but the constant in them all is Jesus & teenagers. We have about 70 leaders and 450 students involved in the Glynn County area and a few in the Savannah area. Many of these groups meet before school at 7:07 am, hence the name...but others meet after school & at nights depending on the needs of the group. The 707 groups meet at local restaurants, coffee shops, homes, schools and churches in the community.
